Regulations and Reuse

Water reuse is a priority at the European level, and in response to this need, the Government of Spain has approved Real Decreto 1085/2024, which regulates water regeneration and promotes its use in various sectors. This regulation drives a transition where natural water concessions are progressively replaced by reclaimed water, fostering a more efficient and sustainable management of water resources.
